1 Introduction

ttriz.com (operated by LMC ProCreative Pty Ltd, "we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website ttriz.com and use our services (collectively, the "Service"). Please read this privacy policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the site or use the service.

2 Information We Collect

We may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we may collect via the Service includes:

  • Personal Data (Future Feature): When user accounts are implemented, we may collect personally identifiable information necessary for account creation and management, such as your name, email address, and potentially payment information for subscription tiers.
  • Problem-Solving Data: Information you voluntarily input into the Service during a consultation, including problem statements, industry selections, identified parameters, brainstorming notes, diagram content (if saved), and the final generated report content. This data is essential for the core functionality of the Service.
  • AI Interaction Data: When you use the AI analysis feature, the relevant Problem-Solving Data (including the generated report and potentially diagram data) is transmitted to the Google Gemini API for processing. If you provide your own Gemini API key, this key is used for the API calls during your session.
  • Usage Data: Information our servers automatically collect when you access the Service, such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, access times, device name, and the pages you view. This may also include session-related data stored temporarily in your browser's Session Storage to maintain application state.
  • API Key Data (User-Provided): If you choose to provide your own Google Gemini API key, it is stored exclusively in your browser's Session Storage for the duration of your active session. It is used solely to authenticate API requests made from your browser to the Gemini API. We do not log or store this key on our servers.

3 How We Use Your Information

Having accurate information permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we may use information collected about you via the Service to:

  • Create and manage your account (future feature).
  • Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the TRIZ consultation Service.
  • Generate reports based on your input.
  • Process data through the Google Gemini API to provide AI analysis features when requested by you.
  • Monitor and analyze usage and trends to improve your experience with the Service.
  • Develop new features, functionality, and services.
  • Respond to your comments, questions, and requests and provide customer service (if contact channels are used).
  • Prevent fraudulent transactions, monitor against theft, and protect against criminal activity.
  • Comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

4 Disclosure of Your Information

We may share information we have collected about you in certain situations. Your information may be disclosed as follows:

  • By Law or to Protect Rights: If we believe the release of information about you is necessary to respond to legal process, to investigate or remedy potential violations of our policies, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of others, we may share your information as permitted or required by any applicable law, rule, or regulation.
  • Third-Party Service Providers: We may share your information with third parties that perform services for us or on our behalf, including data analysis, hosting services, customer service, and AI processing. Specifically, Problem-Solving Data is shared with Google when you use the AI analysis feature, governed by Google's API terms and privacy policies. We require our third-party service providers to use your information only as necessary to provide the services they are providing to us.
  • Business Transfers: We may share or transfer your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.

We affirm that we do not sell your Personal Data or Problem-Solving Data.

5 Security of Your Information

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures designed to protect your information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against interception or other misuse. Any information disclosed online is vulnerable to interception and misuse by unauthorized parties. Therefore, we cannot guarantee complete security if you provide information.

Data transmitted to and processed by the Google Gemini API is subject to Google's security infrastructure and policies.

6 Data Retention

Currently, information you enter into the application (Problem-Solving Data, user-provided API Key) is primarily stored within your browser's Session Storage. This means the data is automatically cleared when you close your browser tab or window. We do not retain this session-specific data on our servers.

Usage Data collected via server logs may be retained for analytical purposes for a limited period as necessary for security, debugging, and service improvement.

Policies regarding data retention will be significantly updated upon the implementation of user accounts, which will involve persistent server-side storage. These changes will be reflected in future versions of this policy.

7 Your Data Protection Rights

Depending on your geographical location and applicable laws (such as GDPR for European residents or CCPA for California residents), you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. These may include:

  • The right to access – You can request copies of your personal data that we hold (applicable mainly upon implementation of user accounts).
  • The right to rectification – You can request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate or complete information you believe is incomplete.
  • The right to erasure – You can request that we erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
  • The right to restrict processing – You can request that we restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
  • The right to object to processing – You can object to our processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
  • The right to data portability – You can request that we transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.

If you wish to exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the contact details provided below. Since we currently minimize data collection and retention, the applicability of these rights may be limited until user accounts are implemented.

8 Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Service primarily uses Session Storage for essential application functionality during your active session. We may use Local Storage for saving user preferences like dark mode settings. We do not currently employ tracking cookies for cross-site advertising or detailed persistent user tracking. We may analyze anonymized server log data (Usage Data) for internal purposes like monitoring service performance and security.

9 Children's Privacy

Our Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 16 (or the relevant age of majority in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information without parental consent, we will take steps to delete such information.

10 Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and revising the "Effective Date" at the top. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we are protecting your information.
