1. Introduction
ttriz.com ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website ttriz.com and use our services (collectively, the "Service").
2. Information We Collect
We may collect information about you in a variety of ways:
- Personal Data (Future - if accounts are added): If you create an account, we may collect personally identifiable information, such as your name, email address, and payment information (if applicable for paid tiers).
- Problem-Solving Data: Information you input into the Service, such as problem statements, industry context, selected parameters, notes, diagram data, and generated reports. This data is processed to provide the Service to you. For AI analysis, this data is sent to our AI service provider (Google Gemini API).
- Usage Data: We may automatically collect information when you access and use the Service, such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, access times, and the pages you have viewed directly before and after accessing the Service. This is collected via server logs and potentially session storage for application state.
- API Key Data (if provided by user): If you provide your own Gemini API key, it is stored in your browser's session storage for the duration of your session and used to make API calls on your behalf. We do not store this key on our servers persistently.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
- Process your TRIZ consultations and generate reports.
- Facilitate AI analysis by sending relevant data to the Gemini API.
- Improve, personalize, and expand the Service.
- Understand and analyze how you use the Service.
- Develop new products, services, features, and functionality.
- Communicate with you, either directly or through one of our partners, including for customer service, to provide you with updates and other information relating to the Service, and for marketing and promotional purposes (with your consent where required).
- Process your transactions (for paid tiers).

4. Disclosure of Your Information
We may share information we have collected about you in certain situations:
- With Service Providers: We may share your information with third-party vendors, service providers, contractors, or agents who perform services for us or on our behalf and require access to such information to do that work. This includes Google for the Gemini API services. Google's use of data is governed by their own privacy policies.
- For Legal Reasons: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
- To Protect Rights: We may disclose your information where we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding potential violations of our policies, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the safety of any person and illegal activities, or as evidence in litigation in which we are involved.

Data transmitted to the Gemini API is subject to Google's security practices.
6. Data Retention
Currently, data such as problem statements, notes, and diagram XML are stored in your browser's Session Storage and are cleared when the session ends. If AI analysis is saved to the report, this saved analysis is also part of the session data.
With the introduction of user accounts (a future feature), data retention policies will be updated to reflect server-side storage.
